about me

Spiritual Sinew grew out of something I have come to understand very deeply: life rarely changes in a straight line.

Sometimes we build. Sometimes we lose. Sometimes we begin again. And sometimes we discover that beginning again is exactly how we find ourselves.

My own path has crossed many different worlds—caregiving, veterinary medicine, management, nonprofit leadership, sociology, women’s studies, metaphysical education, ministry and spiritual exploration.

At first glance, those things may seem unrelated. To me, they aren’t.
The thread running through all of them has always been people, relationships, meaning, resilience and what helps us continue when life changes.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology specializing in Women’s Studies as well as a bachelor’s degree in Metaphysical Science–I continue my education through advanced metaphysical studies and professional training. I am also an ordained minister and certified as a death doula. My professional and personal experiences have given me years of experience supporting people through difficult decisions, transitions, caregiving, loss, change and growth.

But Spiritual Sinew isn’t about me having all the answers. I don’t. And I don’t believe anyone else can hand you a blueprint for your life.

What I can offer is a thoughtful space where you can speak honestly, explore without judgment, ask deeper questions and begin trusting your own voice again.

I believe there is tremendous strength in people.

Sometimes that strength looks powerful.

Sometimes it looks like getting through the day.

Sometimes it looks like changing everything.

And sometimes it looks like finally allowing yourself to stop.

All of it counts.

That is the heart behind Spiritual Sinew.

Sinew is connective tissue. It joins, supports and gives strength.

That idea became the foundation of this business because I believe meaningful growth often happens through connection: connection to ourselves, connection to what we value, connection to our experiences, connection to other people and, for those who seek it, connection to something greater than ourselves.

Spiritual Sinew is about strengthening those connections so that when life stretches us, changes us or asks more of us than we expected, we have something within us to hold onto.
