What exactly is Spiritual Sinew?
Spiritual Sinew is a life coaching and spiritual guidance practice offering individualized support for personal growth, grief, life transitions and spiritual exploration. It is a place for conversation, reflection, connection and intentional change.
Do I have to be spiritual to work with you?
No. You do not need to identify with any particular religion, spiritual practice or belief system. Spiritual exploration is available if you want it. It is never something I will impose on you.
Is this therapy?
No. Spiritual Sinew provides coaching, spiritual guidance and educational support. These services are not psychotherapy, mental-health counseling, medical treatment or a substitute for care from a licensed healthcare or mental-health professional
What happens during a session?
That depends on you. Some sessions may be primarily conversational. Others may include guided reflection, goal setting, values work, grounding, meditation, spiritual exploration, journaling prompts or other tools. You do not need to prepare a perfect agenda. You can arrive exactly where you are.
What happens during the free connection call?
The complimentary 20-minute call is simply a chance for us to meet. You can tell me a little about what brought you to Spiritual Sinew, ask questions about my approach and get a sense of whether you feel comfortable working together. There is no obligation to schedule afterward.
Do you work with grief that is not related to death?
Absolutely. Grief can accompany divorce, relationship changes, illness, caregiving, career changes, retirement, relocation, changing family roles, loss of identity, pet loss, spiritual changes and countless other experiences.
What is the Community Rate?
The Community Rate is a reduced $65 session option intended to make individual support more accessible when the standard fee creates a financial barrier. Please contact me through the Community Rate request form before booking.
Where are sessions held?
Spiritual Sinew is based in Orchard Park, New York. Available session formats and location information are provided during booking. We can use phone sessions, video chat or in person.
What is your cancellaton policy?
I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling whenever possible. Because session time is reserved specifically for you, late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged according to the current cancellation policy.
